Throwing An Engagement Party

by admin on May 30, 2009

Being engaged is a very exciting time in your life. Some people feel the need to throw an engagement party to celebrate. The engagement party should

consist of all of your immediate family, close friends and the people who you are considering to be in your wedding party.

Your engagement party is an intimate affair. More of a get-together if you will. Hors d’oeuvres, Champagne, and cake should be considered for this intimate affair. The majority of people consider having their party at the brides parents house. It’s your choice on where you want to have it. You don’t have to go all out for this either. You have many more expenses coming your way, so spend your money wisely.

Another way to celebrate is to make reservations at your favorite restaurant to celebrate. This eliminates the post party clean up. You want to go to a restaurant where you can find something that everyone can enjoy.

It isn’t necessary to have an engagement party. It depends on your budget and how you as a couple want to celebrate. You might just want to

celebrate with just the two of you. It’s your choice. Remember, it’s your wedding…HAVE FUN!
